Vincenzo Lagani

Vincenzo Lagani is an experienced data scientist primarily working on developing statistical methods and software tools for predictive analytics, risk stratification, feature selection and causal analysis.
After acquiring PhD in Operations Research, Dr. Lagani spent eight years as Post-Doc and contractual researcher at the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH) and the University of Crete, the two top research institutions in Greece according to Nature Index. During this period he (co-)authored 30+ scientific publications and participated in several international research projects.
In October 2013 he participated in co-founding Gnosis Data Analysis, a University of Crete spin-off. Within the company he is involved in numerous data analysis projects for external clients, as well as in the devising and implementation of software products.
